Shorey,konchesky and crainey are your best bet

I would be happy to get any of those 3 on a permanent contract. But if Bertrand was only available on a full season loan, with a view to permanent if promoted, then he would still be my first choice.
I will pass on Konchesky.

One player I 'm surprised we weren't linked to last season was Andrew Taylor, left back at Boro. Did well on loan at Watford by all accounts. Former u'21 international. Product of Boro Academy. McClaren gave him his debut. I think he is available on a free this summer.

Shorey all day long, but it depends on how Hodgson views him, and whether he's in his plans.

Shorey was no doubt a major success here, but age has to come into it when you are spending a limited budget on a player. Shorey is nearly 32, if i'm not mistaken? Bertrand is young and any fee would be a sound investment for the club. He is a top performer, who will improve.

Shorey may be heading towards the wrong side of 30 but he was part of a Forest side that played its best football in 3 seasons, his experience would be vital. I would love to see him back in a Forest shirt but would have no complaints in Bertrand coming back to the City Ground.
