Music tastes

Good Morning ladies and gentlemen,

I know its a little off topic, but I was just interested to see what music people listen to.
Myself, Im mainly a metal guy, but im also pretty open minded, like some dubstep, grime, rap, some pop stuff, anything that sounds good really!

Over to you guys

Still in nappies when 2ND generation hip-hop kicked off.

1-2 years before you popped, the RDBD was listening to Dr Dre in the World Class Wrecking Cru dayz.

Stravinsky, Debussy, Racmaninov, Wagner, Grieg, Beethoven, Bach, Ravel and the rest of the gang... No other music can compare to this.

The infamous album by mobb deep is probably my second favourite album after enter the 36 chambers by wu tang. I've heard that ironman album, pretty decent, I do really like ghostface, his ' R'n'B ' tunes are usually pretty crappy though I think.

Old school nas! Yes my man, Nas is one of about 3 or 4 mc's that could go bar for bar I reckon. Would probably say method man and without being cliché, eminem.

Out of UK hip hop and grime I much prefer UK hip hop still, although it used to be the other way around when I was younger. Tbh I don't rate people like Giggs (not Ryan) as although some beats on his track are decent for me it's all about lyrical content in grime and I think it's just not there with him. I like foreign beggars old stuff and some of the dubstep tracks they've done but mainly their old albums like stray point agenda. With grime I would always rather to listen to a freestyle than an artists album as usually it will have loads of crappy filler but in freestyles, unless its recycled bars the artist is actually forced to be creative and intelligent with the lyrical content. In grime it's all about how people have grown up in slums and worked as a drug dealer without a dad blah blah where as for me, you listen to nas, wu tang, mobb deep it's all real talk, in particular the old stuff.
