Been a while since I've posted on here but I've been having a look at the songs football fans can and can not sing and I came across these three on the can't list:
In Your Glasgow Slums
A minority of Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs fans sing about conditions and family relationships in Glasgow. Offensive to many Glaswegians.
Sheep Song
Some fans use this offensive dirge to taunt Aberdeen fans or fans from other clubs from outwith the Central Belt.
Super Killie
Some versions of this Kilmarnock fans’ song refer to “black b******s". It is a jibe that Ayr United fans are unclean, and the fact Ayr play in black and white, rather than any racist motivations. However, the phrase on its own is offensive.
What a joke, how sensitive do you need to be to find one of these songs offensive?? Obv the Killie one could be took the wrong way if black players were on the on pitch but outwith that, it's just a wind up about their rivals being manky!
SNP have ruined whatever banter we had left in Scottish football.
This new law...

just to be clear..I don't think this is an actual list...just a guy in the papers having a go at it. I have never found any of those songs to be offensive. The whole think is a joke. Salmond has made a major blunder on this.

did anybody hear the boy on Snyde last night who wanted to bring in the 'traffic light' system.....one offensive song and the fans get a yellow light flashed at them....sing another and they get two yellows (= one red)...that means a one point deduction. can you imagine the OF game at New Year....crackers!!. I guess he is an SNP MSP

Who actually trusts the police enough to feel confident that they are impartial .
or are we going to see a glut of offenders wearing green and none wearing blue ?
for a leveller i would insist that all police stated whether they have season tickets to ibrox or parkhead.
in fact i would check to see the arrest records of all officers .
just for fairness like

Im a staunch supporter of the SNP, im a staunch supporter of the intentions with this bill however i could never be more against it.
Yes this problem needs tackled however giving the police an open mandate to arrest who ever they dont like is dangerous.
As the article in the Herald said, this is a dangerous peice of legislation.
