He might be going for a cut-price 20M and in fact City may even pony up some of his salary to let him go. He would be an awesome move for us in Jan. With Van Persie up front, the duo would win us a trophy this season and that could convince Van Persie to re-sign a new contract with us. Yes, Tevez is high maintenance but so are many top players.
Win-win for us.
We should bid for Tevez in Jan

No way would City sell him to another English club. I doubt he wants to move to another part of England, either.

No thanks. Great player, when he plays - awful bloke and real pain in the arsenal every day of the year. He'd be gone within a year anway.

If we could sign him on loan then yes please. So what if he has a bad attitude, on the pitch he gives 100% every game and he would probably try even harder to catch the eye of the bigger clubs in Europe (like Ade is doing at Spurs).
Won't happen though. I don't think Mancini would have a problem with it but Tevez seems to have his sight set on Italy.

HenrysCat _ If he can help us win 1 or 2 trophies and also be a reason for Van Persie to extend his contract and then is gone in one year for 7-10M, wouldn't that be the best 10M we have spent in years?

Why on earth would we want to sign a player that is evidently so difficult to work with?
Even if the most miraculous situation arose, and somehow City and Arsenal agreed terms for his transfer , the player would need to accept in and around a 70% wage reduction for it to go through.
In a nutshell a transfer that is never ever ever going to happen.
