Should Shane Long be starting ahead of Doyle if both there form continues into the summer? Of course Trap is going to start Keane no matter what but who do u think should start along side him? Or does anyone think it could be Walter?

Trap has made it clear that unless we have injuries or suspensions, the team picks itself.
I wouldn't expect Doyle or anyone else to lose their place in the starting 11 between now and next summer.
Long, Cox & Walters will be impact subs only

When did Trap say this? I can't believe that is true I don't think any manager in the world would come out and say some thing so stupid that would leave the rest of the players unmotivated.
You any links to these comments? Im guessing u don't

I dont think he actually means that Trap specifically stated this, he just means that by reading between the lines, thats what one understands.......at least thats what I understand.

Trap never actually said this but everyone knows if everyone is fully fit the team will be Given,O'Shea, St.Ledger, Dunne, Ward, Duff, McGeady, Whelan, Andrews, Keane, Doyle.
These are his first 11 and in my opinion will continue to be unless, like I said, there are injuries or suspensions.
I would love to see other players like Hunt, McCarthy, Walters start more games but Trap is never going to change his mind, at least not until after the Euros

I would probably pick Long over Doyle and Walters. The reason being Long is more of a natural goalscorer.
He takes a lot more risks than Doyle. Kevin Doyle seems to be afraid to take shots on goal, thats not good for a striker

Doyle hasn't looked the same player since coming back from injury. Personally I think we might be looking at a Doyle AND Long strikeforce.....

Not a chance it will be Doyle and Long starting. Keane will never be dropped and rightly so as he's our leading striker.
I think Long is better in every department than Doyle. I wouls have Doyle as 4th choice forward behind Keane, Long & Walters.
