In all the pes I've had I think I've managed to bag a free kick once

Veron is good at them

It took a lot of practice on last year's one but there was a certain amount of power you had to apply and you would have a decent chance. For close one's go for extra weak power while about halfway thru the power meter

I probably scored under 10 in total tho

I should've really worked on free kicks a few pes ago tbf but ive never really needed them as a means to get goals. Ive always been pretty good at bagging a few goals a half in open play f

It was all about counter-attacks for me

Do endless 1-2s and bam, goal

So much space would open up for a simple through ball

I scored one brilliant goal where Shimizu did a one-two with half the team and eventually scored

Tbh i focus all my play on keeping possesion and quick attacks, im shiite at defending

i practised free kicks constantly on PES2011 and yes Veron is a master at them, in and around the edge of the box he is truly lethal. On PES2011 I bought a guy called Tamada in my first season, he now a 105 rated SS, he is utter class. I really dont like PES2012 at all however
