Chelsea just bid £50million for Kun Aguero

CHELSEA last night launched a stunning £50miIlion bid to sign Atletico Madrid goal ace Sergio Aguero – after it was revealed the player was close to joining Juventus.

The Blues’ dramatic move for Aguero, 23, comes as Atletico coach Gregorio Manzano warned mega-bucks Manchester City – who are also interested in the Argentina striker – to make an offer or face the prospect of having to meet his £45m release clause.

Chelsea’s bid is intended to blow everyone out of the water.

Juventus, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have also been linked with the hitman, who is Diego Maradona’s son-in-law, although none have come close to Atletico’s 45 million euros buy-out-clause valuation .

LSTD - David Luiz Chelseas number 4

Sorry mate but IMO your wrong about Aguero - he can play anywhere in a 442, 433 or even as a lone striker, I've watched him play all three just as effectively.
I go as far as to say he's the one player we do need.
He's a class player and would fit into any top team in the world.

And on the fee it was 50m Euro which is roughly £45m hence the figure lookng higher than the buy out clause!

I would prefer Neymar for 30 million then Aguero for 50. Aguero's a good player bordering on great but I feel Neymar has the biggest potential and is also at a similar level despite being 4 years younger. He also has around half of Aguero's wages

And also a maasive risk on Robinho proportions! Plus according to reports his fee is rising all the time - the last time I heard Santos were on about £40m!

Aguero has proved his quality in Europe away from his South American comfort zone, shown a fantastic attitude and a team player - could you say that about Neymar!

As well as Torres & Drogba, not forgetting atm we still have Anelka & Sturridge on the books!

Anything constructive to say?

Would love seeing Aguero in a Chelsea shirt, 50mil would be beyond a joke but if Roman's happy to pay it, that's his business.

I'd still prefer Neymar myself

I have another suggestion that Chelsea should stop overpaying for players.Chelsea bidding 50 million pounds for Aguerro but still Atletico have not shown any positive sign which is wrong and a disgusting attitude. What do they want?80 million pounds.Aguerro is not that good.

'No Aguero is very average for a man of his wages and price tag.'
