Evening one and all my first post on the new site, I have to admit I have been reading your posts but not till now have I been tempted to comment on my CFC
Three points I want your views on:
(1) Was our planning so poor in the summer that we now find our selves going into the new year losing Anelka/Alex and whoever else, and having to integrate new players at the business end of the season.Every man and his dog could tell AVB who needed to go, should have been done in August not now!
(2) I don't agree with this we play Torres for x games and we play Drogba for x games , what ever you think of Torres is he realy that poor that he can't even get 20 mins when Drogba is clearly not at the races! This is not competition for places it is a joke I don't care if we get a fwd out the reserves and put on the pitch but what is the point of naming Torres as a sub if you aren't going to use him when you need to replace Drogba!
(3) Forget about todays howler Petr Cech has been below standard for a while now and the fact that he has not had competition for his place is worrying, his distribution is schocking and some of his mistakes over the last 18 mths have been Sunday league!
AVB sort it out no one gives a toss about your philosphy when they are basic mistakes and issues that any pub punter can see let alone CFC manger on 6 mill a year!

AVB is scared to take off Drogba because he defends set pieces better than anyone in our back line. Very negative tactics from him in the 2nd half.

Our keeper is poor we can all see the type of footy the manager wants to play and how the keeper distributes the ball is vital, I can't see Petr still being #1

That is a fact dear boy. Cech is in decline and has been for a while. He doesn't have a great defence protecting him anymore

I always thought It was strange starting Drogba against when a day after the match against City he played in the charity match and believe me he looked exhausted.
Oh well. Torres does need to start the next game I would like him to get a run of games and at least start with Mata,Sturridge,Meireles,Ramires and Romeu.
Not with dross like Malouda,Kalou,Mikel,Lampard who are either not interested or are just too slow and declining.
