Full interview with Coyle, i certainly enjoyed listening to it because it was so truthful and you can see hes a man who is so passionate about bwfc.
Individual errors for the goals that should be simple defensive work have ruined bwfc again, Boyata not clearing a routine cross and allowing Dempsey header, and giving ball away after restart which led to Fulham 2nd goal.
Also chose to play 4 cm in the middle as he wanted to solidify the park and try to be more sound defensively, but two individual errors cost goals and thats unfortunate and something he was not happy about at all.
Trying his best with a poor set of players.
Coyle Interview.

You may have got the 1 star (not off me BTW) for tryin' to lay all the blame on the players, and tryin' to portray OC as a victim of circumstances, who's doing nothing wrong at all.
That's very far from the truth. Being a nice chap and caring about BWFC ( I agree, he's both) doesn't mean he's capable of the task ahead (keeping us up).
Popularity points don't win games ..and even those points are dryin' up in most quarters ...
Criticising players in public often means a manager knows he's lost the dressing room, so he's nothing to lose by havin' a go at them. It's a last desperate throw of the dice, when there's nothing else to offer ...and it almost never, ever pays off.
Owen .... the most important word for you at this moment in time is ' Dignity ' ....... Don't lose it.

Couldn't agree more, with the last statement. Would be sad if Coyle didn't leave with the respect all bwfc used to have for him.

I would ask OC to leave with his dignity..this set of players have thrown in the towel and the sight of Knight having a laugh and a joke at the end of the game yesterday just summed it up........

Being a truthful man and passionate about bwfc I wish they would pay me while a bad job is done. Sadly I am paying them. The sight of the players laughing is because the manager has lost the dressing room. They don't care because they don't believe in the manager. Somewhere along the line you have to ask do proven prem players know when a managers out of his depth.
Holden coyle knows the buck stops with him and that he is responsible for this mess however much you deny it.
The dignity thing is a good point. I want owen coyle to come back to Bolton in the future with another team and fans to clap him. The longer he continues this god awful period of bwfc history were we are now frantically a bit of a joke the longer fans will become frustrated with silly comments like we matched them for all but 30 seconds. He must be one of about 10 people who thought that yesterday the rest saw us concede two goals in the first half losing the game by half time and putting up little fight. The subs at half time say it all. He got it wrong. He picked the wrong players made changes but how on earth could you motivate players at half time after admitting you got it wrong by making two changes. I don't want him to admit he got it wrong I want him to get it right.
Most of the fans don't believe in him the players clearly don't we just need gartside then it's bye bye!

Before the individual errors thing is brought up all players and all teams make them in every game. Conceding two goals is not good but you then have to score goals to counter that. A mistake will be made by a bwfc in any game but if the same players can't score your on a hiding to nothing

Boyata was publically blamed for dempseys goal whilst right good managers only chastise players privately. Desperate managers pass the book in public.

If we lose on Tuesday then his position is completely untenable.....Its a pity because I do feel the players have let me down big time but if he has lost the dressing room then its bye bye.

Coyle obviously has to take responsibility and there are things I thing he hasn't done well. For example the mid-management of Ngog, he hasnt been used correctly at all since we've signed him.
But it's fair enough if players make an individual error, but it's not if those players, who wouldn't be playing if it wasn't for injuries or suspensions, continuously make 2 or 3 errors between them per game. I would much rather draw 0-0 than draw 2-2 purely because it shows the side is stable at the back. We have never ha clean sheets since BSA left, we have the same players in defence we had under Megson, an we still have ten now because they are back up who are in the squad bcos of injuries.

Holden I agree but you swing between nothing is coyles fault to some things are which makes your argument look flawed

No I haven't said I don't think it's Coyles fault, obv he has responsibility. But I think he's doing his best of a really bad situation. I think TE players available are at fault this season, and the board t fault for mismanaging TE club since BSA left. Coyle is now in a position where we have bad injuries, poor back up players, and no money to bring in replacements.
As I said last night re SAF, I don't think there is any manager ATM who could improve us considerably. You cannot teach a player good on pitch intelligence, or make them a player who can dictate tempo in a training session, these players just are not good enough IMO.
You yourself have said this player is rubbish this player is rubbish etc, what will make them good players if say Curbs came in? What have you seen of them this season to suggest thy are anything but rubbish?
