Dravid - Your time to go!

Looks like Dravid is not thinking of retiring anytime soon. The selection panel has no spine to drop him and to replace him with Pujara. Is it so difficult to sack a non-performer?
Give way for some of the younger players so they benefit playing alongside Tendulkar and VVS. Dravid, its your time to GO and NOW!

Toofan, a belated reply. Taking your chance?
It would be a smashing reply if you answered the op before dravid became the top-scorer.but now the op doesnt need your reply,he should have known by now.

Indiasox

I replied when I read his I was late in reading his article and by that time Dravid was in late 80s.
But eventhough Dravid was not that bad in first innings he made some 40 odd runs and OP should not have been balbbering about him.
SAny way India won comfortably today.

Op is not blabbering anything. Dravid should go soon to give way to the youngsters. We do not want Dravid, Lax and Tendulkar retire at the same time. But now that he has scored a century unfortunately the selectors will not kick him out and he will on his own not retire. This is not good for team India and its future.

Agreed. You do not replace a batsman with that kind of pedigree unless you can point out a replacement who is unmistakably better.

In any case, India hasn't yet managed to solve the problem of finding a good, long-term number six batsman. Unless that is solved first, it is laughable to talk of discovering a replacement for a competent number three.
