Just watched the SPL highlights and i really do think its time for managers to take they're team off the park when the 'inconsistant' refereeing comes into place when playing rangers its blatantly obvious now that the 'inconsistant' refereeing always favours the same team. After all the soft penalties that have given in rangers favour, their players are allowed to drag people off the ball and handle it in the box, and yes caley thistle even had a goal chopped off too absolutely shocking rangers would be mid table without these 'favours'. No wonder the fans have given up, if the next time we play rangers at debtbrox they get a 'favour' from the 'incosistant' referee i'd honestly have more respect for houston if he just walked the team off the park its the only way to stop this farcical 'inconsistant' refereeing.

West I credit your old manager for the overhaul that took place in in the SFA. His straight no holds barred comments on Currie was a watershed in Scottish fitba.

There's no doubt that both the OF clubs get the benefit of the many 'incoherent' decisions by Scottish referees. And no doubt, also, that out of the two of them, Rangers get the lion's share of these decisions.
But it's hard to say how much of it is down to bias or incompetence, as we see just as many bizarre decisions in games that do not involve the OF - e.g. Aberdeen's 'penalty' against Hibs at the weekend.
I think that most of it is down to incompetence, but for referees, they prefer the easy life and therefore they choose to favour an OF club (esp Rangers) against any other as it is 'the path of least resistance'.
There are times tho' (e.g. McCurrygate) where there is no doubt that it is purely a case of bias towards Rangers.
Sadly, just another one of the factors that is driving punters away from our game.

I feel sorry for you.
At the end of the day, the Scottish referees don't do your club any favours with their antics.
You win a few games with their help and you think:
'Hey! We've won all these games! We've won the league! We must be pretty damn good!'
Cue European competition > impartial referee > annual humping > reality check
Bit sad and pathetic really.
Still, at least you can quite rightfully & justifiably boast the most uneducated, bigotted, knuckle-dragging fanbase in Europe
Merry Xmas!

Refs are under enormous pressure during games involving the Old Firm to do the "right" thing i.e. give decisions of in favour of Scotlands shame no matter how ridiculous they are.The diddy teams will just have to like it.
