Where is Millen..

I am listing all the football teams in our league with their managers,I am trying to find what position Millie would be in the league of managers based on experience, man management, tactics, leadership, activity, strength and pure enthusiasm..

Compare and decide,with honesty...

Birmingham...---------------------
Blackpool...Ian Holloway..
Brighton...Gus Poyet..
Burnley...Eddie Howe..
Cardiff...Malky Mackay..
Coventry...Andy Thorne..
Crystal Palace...Dougie Freeman..
Derby...Nigel Clough..
Doncaster...Sean O'Driscoll..
Hull...Nigel Pearson..
Ipswich...Paul Jewell..
Leicester...SGE..
Leeds...Simon Grayson..
Milwall...Kenny Jackett..
M/Boro...Tony Mowbray..
N/Forest...Steve McClaren..
P/Boro...Darren Fergeson..
Portsmouth...Steve Cotterell..
Reading...Briam McDermott..
Southampton...Nigel Adkins..
Watford---------------------
WHU...Sam Allardyce..

Based on all things mentioned where does Millen stand,I've not listed a league of managers but I think Millen rates 19th...

What's your position for him,no emotion just basic honesty.

It's a worry...

I would rate him higher than that about 15th what lets him and a couple of others down is experience but that comes with time in the job

He ticks all the boxes to a degree, apart from the experience, like hawky said that will grow. What he does have is alot of history with the club and knowledge, and hes quite shrewd in the transfer market. At the moment id say he'd be dangerously close to a relegation spot, but that wont reflect on our fortunes this season im sure. He will grow into it

'I think Millen rates 19th'
So who in heaven's name is below him? They must have the personalities of a wet cod, the experience of a newly-born, the tactical nous of Capt. Mainwaring and the presence of the invisible man!

Millens doing a great job to keep City in the Championship get off his back, any City fan who think they should be in the Premier League are sadly deluded.

Barra,it's just a comparason of managers, not teams or performances.

I don't want to upset the 'Happy Clappers' but all opinions are welcome.

Having spoken for a short time to KM I can vouch for his enthusiasm for the job/challenge of taking City to the next level up that of an established top Championship / lower ranked Prem side I don't think he is deluding himself he has a vision of where he wants the club to be and has plans to take it there, he is realistic enough to know that if he starts shooting his mouth off about where we will be playing season after next year i.e. the Premiership and things go wrong, players get injured etc he is just setting himself up as a target, he is going to do things his way. OK yes he does need to brush up on his media skills but not all managers are the Clough, Shankley, Fergie, Revie types and you don't have to be Robson, Wenger, Mee also to an extent Bob Stokoe were the quieter types who got on with their jobs and achieved sucess (though Stokoe did get more excited after the FA Cup win). I'd rather have a manager who kept his head down working with his players until he had something to shout about. I'm actually looking forward to next season as I think that it will be one of improvement and hopefully I will get to a few more games next year especially as I've now enlisted my girlfriend as a City supporter now, (good init Me in Blackpool G/F in London both following Bristol City) means one hell of a long trip to home games Blackpool M55-M6-M1-M25 collect G/F M25-M4-M5-Bristol City then the same trip in reverse. Will only be able to do it for Sat or BH matches, just as well there are a few games in London.
