After the game on Saturday, when most of the players bottled a round of applause at the kop end, did anyone notice Snoddy was the only one who applauded all sides of the ground?
This worried me, I think with the present incumbent as Chairman, the nearest we will get to a happy Christmas at ER, is the fact he could be mistaken for Saint Nick. Wow, that would be a severe case of mistaken identity!!
I honestly think there are deep rooted problems now in the dressing room, problems that probably come from players and management playing leg over musical chairs with the staff in admin (And possibly other dept's). Bates without doubt distanced himself from SG over the last couple of months, and is, I would think, starting to look at plan XY or Z.
Despite SGs sometimes very annoying habit of playing players out of position, I have always felt he is managing with one hand behind his back, but, I must admit, excuses are starting to wear a bit thin. But the whole club is down, the fans feel it, we all do. Bates total obstinance when it comes to investment has torn the heart out of our once mighty club. I am sure the players are not immune to the travesty of property before personnel. Don't expect much more than a tinkering round the margins in the new year transfer window.
All this has led to the worst atmosphere i can recall down at ER in forty years. Why oh Why did Bates not buy Sheff Wed. I will tell you why, because the owner at the time was a businessman who was aware of what Bates would do to his club. I have never been more disillusioned in all my time as a white.
Bates antagonists, lets get to work, we need to counter balance the pro- Bates brigade, who, with their defence of the pirate, will have us treading championship water for the forseable future.
Happy Christmas.
Snoddy's Goodbye?? Or was it just me

you can't blame snodgrass for wanting to test himself at a higher level,he'll be thinking i could be playing in the PL with top internationals, then he'll look around at his team mates on the training pitch and see the likes of o'dea connoly howson becchio and he must think i can do better than this, it might sound harsh but its the truth, no ambition at leeds anymore im afraid, and it's heartbreaking for all these life long fans

Snoddy will not be a Leeds player come mid January, ive ALWAYS been right about my transfer stories

You make it sound as if you'll be disappointed if Snoddy is still here after the window closes.

Some of the comments on here seriously make me doubt the education system in this country.

Didn't he reject a 5-7m offer from Norwich for Snoddy in the summer?

EXACTLY
Bates has rejected bids for players. I think it was more around the £3m mark for Snoddy but he rejected bids for Gradel of equivalent value to the one he eventually accepted, not for the money, because Gradel wanted to go.

the only 1 to blame is snodders does go is BATES, he has not shown the team, any intent of helping our GREAT manager assembling a squad to attempt the assault on promotion

I've got no idea whether we'll hold on to Snodgrass or not (or even whether he wants to go or not) but he does that every single game and has done for a long time. Absolutely nothing strange about his behaviour on Saturday.
