That's what I meant. "All time" SPL top goalscorer. I didn't mean top scorer since the time of the dinosaurs but he played in the SPL.

Boyd:- I've never been a fan. He's fat, thick and lazy, with an over-inflated idea of his own ability

He doesn't graft on the field, or on the training pitch, or in the gym. He is not in the same class as Jelavic.

HOWEVER... he knows Rangers/Glasgow/SPL, scored freely against almost every SPL side, and if Jelavic goes, I'd take Boyd - on around £12k? per wk - until June, when both parties could then review things .

Take him now and he'd have a couple of weeks to get some fitness back. Despite all the negatives about Boyd, we have to accept we are skint, and if Jelavic goes, Boyd is free and available.

Not fussed how stupid or how intelligent he is, one thing he most certainly knows - Where the onion bag is. That's all we need from him
