Nar' then... The superstar. The artist and profit that is the lgendary, the mighty, the all conquering Daniel Bogdanovich.
Maradonna in the mind. Mandy Dingle from outside the 6 yard box.
Just a year ago, Mr Bogdanovich, set for the dizzying heights of the premier league as he crosses the T's and dots the I's on his (...and I qoute) "dream move" to the footballing giants that are... Sheffield United.
Oh what a difference a year makes... Leaving behind a championship level, financially sound. -----> 'living within there means' <------ football club for the longball launching, referee bullying and (i'm gonna say it) common ASSAULT tactics of the Blackwell Revolution... clearly a fast path to the premier league.
A year later, Kevin Blackwell was inevitabley sacked and it seems the brammal lane pitch isn't as green when it must be shared with the mighty Exeter and the like.
Yes... the pop and crisps league where they used to so regularley remind we 'belong' (despite us spending more yeard in the second tier of English football than them... nevermind.) in the previous seasons is not as gl,aorous as it sounds.
It now looks like the new Messiah, man of the moment, Mr Popular himself Danny Wilson (salute, nostalgic headache) has been told to get shut of some of these pri-maddonas on big money they CANNOT afford.
Henderson, Evans, Quinn etc. and of course ...Daniel Bogdanovich!
And as Danny, expectedly does not quite fancy a pay cut in exchange for his shot at getting his money grabbing hands on the Johnsons Paint Trophy it looks likely he will be out that door as if he was chasing a tenner dangling from the end of a stick, held by a deluded manager of a 'big time' club on his back.
With the mighty Barnsley FC leading the chase for the malteaser, the question is... would he be welcome back at t' well? Despite being a judas with quite an over inflated ego, if he would improve our sqaud would you personally welcome him back on a free transfer considering our shoe string budget and at least give him a chance to repay last years actions by banging 'em in in a red shirt again?
And of course, if he does come back and is not up to scratch... It's all Carlos Tevez's fault.

Is that grass still greener... Eh?
