10 reasons why we CAN win at 3 Point Lane

Spurs is a tough game to go to but the way I see it is that this is 50/50. I felt the adds were stacked against us a lot more when we played City. Providing AVB gets the team selection right we could win this.

1. We still have a psychological edge over them - There is a reason why they have only beaten us 3 times out the last 38 attempts. It would take a serious run of results like we had over Arsenal from Jose onwards to overturn this and Spurs have never beaten us more than once in a season (all comps) since 1971. Whether their fans want to admit it there will always be a sense of excitement but also trepidation when they play us.

2. Ramires and Luiz should be back - Therefore we could pretty much name the same team that beat City.

3. We are the Famous CFC - We fear NO-ONE!

4. This is Spurs FFS, not Barcelona, they have some excellent players and the atmosphere will be electric but we should relish that. Spurs are probably the 2nd best side SO FAR but there is a long way to go. If we can beat City after going a goal down inside 2 minutes we can beat anyone.

5. We are at home, well 2nd home after Stamford Bridge anyway - 9 Premier League wins at this ground Most one sided Derby in the Top Flight

6. We are in better form than last season - We were in the gutter last season and come up against a fully fit Bale and Lennon with Ferreira at RB but could and should have got a win (ref and linesman robbed us).

7. Day extra rest

8. The best away support in the country will be there

9. Chronic is going and his record against us speaks for itself

10. Juan Mata, Luiz, Ramires, Sturridge, Ivanovic (at right back) = Chance of beating any side in the Prem

===================================================

This match could go either way, much depends on the fitness of Bale, Luiz and Ramires. It should make for a great game but we all know if Drogba of old returned we could and would win this match easy. Credit where it's due though Spurs are a good side and have had a great start and are rightly favourites going into this game, but when we take them back to the Bridge, with deadwood going out, Essien fit and a Chelsea team hitting their stride they can expect nothing less than to walk away with a defeat

I still don't know who started those rumours

Nah I am just really fickle, I can deal with bad results but I take lack of effort like we showed at Wigan really badly

Nothing hurts when you invest so much time and effort watching Chelsea and you see performances like that, as they say.... There is nothing worse than wasted potential

Bubbles™

You forgot to mention that Chelsea have lost in every Cup Final they have ever contested with Spurs.

You forgot to mention the fact that you were still a boy receiving the cane at school when Spurs last won the league

Sir Bubbly :

You must be corrected here.

If Chelsky manage to draw on thursday, then "3 point lane" = the number of PL points gained in total at WHL since August 2005.
