Players returning from their loans...

We have a reasonable number of first team players, as well as reserves, returning to the club in the summer (or at least we do at the time of writing).

Alberto Aquilani is probably the most high profile, particularly since the wrangling over a permanent move to Juve is still not resolved.

Emmanuel Insua is due to return from Galatasaray, and we do have a weakness at left back regards squad depth with Koncheskey almost certain to leave and Aurelio's injury proneness.

Daniel Pacheco returning from Norwich having helped them attain promotion.

Daniel Ayala returning from Derby County, Conor Thomas from Coventry, Chris Mavinga from Racing Club Genk...

Oh, and Philipp Degen and El Zhar are also to return (unless a deal can be done.

Who should stay and who should go???

Cannot see Aquaman, returning, he as made it fairly plain he wants to stay in Italy, but don`t think we will get
what we want for him, maybe 10/12 mill.

I would like to see Aquilani back at Anfield for at least another season-I didn't see enough of him last time to form an opinion.
Pacheco needs more experience out on loan but definately one to keep hold of.
As for the rest they are just dead wood and need cashing in.I know a lot of Reds fans rate Insua but I think we can get a better player at LB.

Aquilani may well want to remain at Juve, but they have to pay the piper, and he has also said that he'd have no problems returning to Anfield.

As for Insua, yes there are better players out there, but he'd add depth to the squad, he's still young and can be developed, and he's strong. Unless the money was good, I'd be tempted to keep the lad under Kenny and Steve Clarke, and see what they can do with him. They've done wonders with other lads, like Spearing coming into the team and putting down a marker...

I think insua would be a great backup left back for next couple of seasons then possibly make the first team after that.

If he would want to come back that is
