Sir Alex famously said this of Charlie Adam last season. However, from what I have noticed, his delivery has not been as impressive as I was expecting. I've noticed some of your fans claiming the same, and that considering the amount of corners you are getting, you should be scoring more from them.
Of course, the delivery is not all to blame, but Liverpool have some players that are pretty decent in the air, and if his delivery is as good as it has been made out, one would think you'd score more from them.
This is not a wind up, I am genuinely interested as to whether his delivery has become worse, or whether I'm looking too much into things.
Your views would be appreciated.

Perhaps Dalglish should spend another £20 million on Chris Brunt this January. At least his crossing and passing is better than Adam's.

I have to agree. Strangely I thought he would be bought to be used mainly as a sub. Coming on last 10 or 20 with a deadly set play to make the difference. His outfield play has been ever improving and has really looked the part, but his set pieces have been poor.
I think he's been on corner taking practice under the guidance of Gerrard!

Any set piece around the box, you let one of Suarez, Bellamy, Maxi or Hendo take it. Adam can't clear the wall and his set pieces are surprisingly poor compared to last season.
Also, if kuyt is on the pitch and Gerrard isn't he should take all penalties. I knew Adam would miss that penalty as soon as the camera panned to his face. Or I would let Bellers take them.

One thing to consider is Gerrard's strength in the air. I know he delivers a good corner, but I'm sure Suarez or Bellamy would be a better option, as Gerrard is a threat in the box.
It's much like when we had Ronaldo - his corners were fairly decent, but he was more of a threat to score.
