He was very average last night (not poor), had a quite few misplaced passes. Took the wrong option to shot when there was an easier passer.
he hasn't contributed enough going forward for a few weeks now, and it really shows, with lack of goals from midfield.
I'm not plastic fan who just follows what the media or other fans say, i watch every game.
Even thou he made a great last ditch challenge last night on Agbonlahor, he missed a great chance when put thro, he also had a similar chance against City.
on a side note, the whole team in the first half tried about 10-15 flicks that didn't come off, its so frustration to watch. We are away from home, have the lead, lets keep the ball a bit better and make the opposite work hard.

I agree he needs a rest, we should give Rosicky a couple of games. he looked sharp when he came on, as he has done for most of the season. loved the way he ran back and won the ball back with a clean sliding tackle.

I rate him highly. But think he could do with a rest. Play Benayoun or Rosicky against Wolves.

He needs a rest imo. Benny needs to start a few games to show his worth.
Its showed last time when Ramsey was rested for a week or 2 as he came bk fresh and played well.

I think Ramsey have massively improved this season. He played a lot of games. Maybe a bit overused and need a rest.
He must improve in front of goal.

The bloke's played every game for us - he looks a bit jaded. However, he is still a fantastic creative player - I rate him every bit as highly as I rate Wilshere.

He came straight on twitter after the match and admitted he had a poor performance. Good that he was willing to admit that but then against apart from Szczesney, Per and Kossy every other player should have come on and said the same thing.
I do think he definitely needs a rest, I am not faulting his effort or anything but this is a hectic festive period and a game on the bench is only going to help him and the team with Rosicky and Yossi looking to impress. We have 2 home games against 'lesser' opposition coming up so I would not be surprised to see Yossi and Rosicky in for Gervinho and Ramsey.
