having received a petition to sign from HTSA regarding the lack of progress on the return of the Town share in the Stadium complex, I have received a copy of a reply from my local MP.
It basically states that an impasse has been reached between Hoyle and Davy, and that the transfer of the 40% share in the stadium to HTAFC from Ken Davy's private consortium has now stalled.
It seems an arbitrator is being sought to sort out the dispute between the two. Sir John Harman has been suggested as a possibility.
I'm hardly suprised by this, as Ken Davy has been a reluctant partner in the process to give Town back its share in the stadium, but to be honest I don't know what the issue is that is causing the problem, and the delay.
Ken Davy moved the shares to his own company in order to 'protect' HTAFC from the debts , so he said, but it was reported in the press that he had agreed to return Towns share, some 2 years ago.
Now it seems a stalemate has been reached.
It would be nice to know what exactly has gone wrong here..although I have my suspicions.
It's not good news really, because I am sure it affects Towns future well being and viability in a negative way.
The lack of information coming out about this doesn't help the fans and certainly leaves me wondering who of the two parties is digging their heals in....

Ah but where would Town be if Davy had not stepped in Barca ?? Come on tell me, Cos there was no other consortium who could have stopped us doing a Halifax, Despite Terry Fishers endevours to get a bunch of local businessmen together, They neither had nor could get the collateral needed to save us from liquidation and having to start again, As Halifax did ! A lot of people seem to think Davy gazumped "the others", He did not, The others obviously would have helped Town "RE-START", But were in no position to save our league status, Mr Fisher said so himself. His daughter also said so in person to me in a boozer (a cracker she is too), Dont forget he also saved us from Pearson, Who went on take over and sell on Derby to some Yanks, The same Derby who get attendances averaging 25k plus regularly and yet still dont have a penny to rub together, Which does beg the question, In what financial position would we be in if Davy had sold to this so called saviour ?

brycey! the galpharm is total white elephant without town!!
giants are 7m in debt and cant get a crowd!! due to everyone supporting town!!
why the fook should town pay 700k rent for a stadium that reaps cash off towns back????
davy is a criminal!!! and should be hung high!!
deano should threaten to build his own stadium if davy wont give back the shares as agreed!!
and if kirklees wont give the planning permission then we could build one in calderdale!! or re-develop the shay and share with them.....this is now totally one sided and disgracefull...and huddersfield town arent here to subsidise the egg chuckers..and effectively be their tennants!!

also you cant really comment on what might have happened should anyone different to davy had taken over!! but from what i know town would have been saved and davy was favoured by kirklees council!!!
he,s a corporate thief!! and will now get whats coming if he doesnt sell deano the shares!!!!
hang him high!!! the pirate!

Wakey council would bite Hoyles hands off too,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,Without the Giants being onboard we would never have got such a stadium, We would have had a Scunny/Warsaw type flatpack box,,,,, But i agree if it is Davy/Council being harsh holes, Hoyle should say "nuts i aint paying that", Halifax would bend over backwards to put a couple of games on at The Shay, Full to nigh on capacity and a couple of terraces, love it.

Dont forget, Calderdale only starts tother side of Ainleys, Not far at all, And as i have said afore, St Helens new stadium only cost 30m, Which is peanuts to Hoyle, ,,, I will wait for the full facts to come out before i join the internet lynch mob, I do go to both, as do many others, I also know people who are Town fans and would go to the rugby every now and again but dont because they wont support them cos of davy !

town fans buying drinks and food and lighning davys pockets!! all going to ksdl which davy now has 60% of!
and all this to save town??
we even have to pay for any event we have at the galpharm on the corporate side!!!! all going to him!!
all this in a stadium that cant function without us!!! but we are expected to pay for everything without having any share whatsoever!!!

Of course we should have a share, The shares should have been returned long ago, As Davy did save the club (forget about Fisher, Captain Pickard and the others, as i have said above, ask em, if you see any of em) I would not have begrudged him keeping another 10% of the shares giving both residents/part owners equal 30% shares of our council property.

if he wont give em back then we have to move!!!!
700k rent is ridiculous and all towns matchday money in drinks and food going to davy!!
deano could build a new ground and get his money back in the money we save in rent!! and also make htfc worth more!!!!
kirklees will never give us planning permission for a new ground so we can make the short trip to calderdale where i,m sure they would welcome us!! be it sharing with afc halifax or a new stadiun for ourselves!!!
lets face if if you live in the colne valley h/fax is nearer anyway!!
we cannot be held to ransom by davy anylonger!!
