worth a bid for Rory Donnelly?

who? yeh thats what i thought until i read this article

from the clips he looks pretty good! seems to have good technique and likes to take players on.

owen and berbatov wont be here long as i much as ive grown to like berba, he doesnt deserve to be on the bench, macheda does not look convincing

so is donnelly worth a shout for the future?

Rory is a decent striker,but the step up from playing my local team Linfield,to competing against the big boys is massive.
Good luck to him wherever he goes.

No because although he looks a decent prospect, the standard of Northern Irish league football is not great and the difference in level between the Barclays Premier League and the IFA Premiership is absolutely massive.

I cant wait for him to be in the premier league being from Northern Ireland etc. I hope he goes to Swansea though, Everton would also be fine.

The step up might be huge but he would improve as a player at United, and he would go out on loan anyway, United have always had a good scouting system in Ireland and i'd be suprised if we hadn't already had a look at him but didn't fancy bringing him over.
