Granted, Voronin appeared the same online, but he looks like a genuine goalscorer and obviously a lot more agile and technically astute - (Video of him scoring impressive bicycle on Youtube)
The rumours on Twitter are that he'll be in the technical directors box Vs Blackburn today, he'll have been filled in with every current affairs connected to us - all the ridiculous stuff about us hitting post/creating chances. Obviously a player of his age won't have to be told about our stature...
He's also been linked with a move to OT or Stamford Bridge, for him to be at our game today is a huge boost with a big chance that De Jong could really like what he sees if we put on a good show.
All the talk with the Donnelly lad from Ireland too is promising - change back to the old 'boot room' days of GB & Ire signings but he is perhaps again another one for our future.
I just firmly believe Luuk could come in and bury all these opportunities our team are creating - more than work wonders up top with Luis.

Well i always hear good things about him, but tbh i have watched him play 3 or 4 times now and he has not impressed once, and was poor the last time (against an English team Fulham was it?).

No no, not as a fan - with the directors apparently in the box where all 'new-signings' go to watch.
Like I said nothing confirmed - but a huge rumour on Twitter about it.
Could see him around the £10m mark, and if knows how to bang in goals that an 'Enrique-esque' bargain! :D

he has 7 months left on his contract with an option of another year, unless he has signed another since the 3 year one on 1st july 2009 that is.

I believe KK will sign us another striker in Jan and not too many others spring to mind really - I think considering (hopefully) that he's at Anfield today is a very good sign

I hope he is too, cheap enough, and fits the criteria why not? He gets a lot of attention and has done since a very early age, so there must be something about him.
We do need 2 more strikers, i agree with Fergy when he swears by having 4 quality strikers, we only seem to ever have 1 or 2 usually replacing one with another rather then adding one to another.
