Bring on the Scousers

Poor performance from us up until about 60th min today when pardew took Best off who was poor again. HBA changed the game, very well taken goal and we stopped lumping it forward when he came on. Bring on Liverpool at Klanfield where our record is pretty horrendous but this is probably the best chance we'll get to beat them there.

Without playing well we never looked like losing at all. Williamson's presence was needed. He did well on his return.

Ba going off to ACN will hit us hard but i hope that today has shown he must be partnered with HBA to pardew

Great result, a win away from home always good

Spurs 606 s for AndyRoid, for your lot hanging in there still, even after your mini-slump.

Cheers RDBD off to anfield next

Boom his finish was well taken. It gave us all a lift when he came on as well. Obertan looked a different player

I think you'll win Andy, I told you all along Newcastle have no reason to fear going to Anfield. IMO you go into the game with as much chance of winning as they do.

Liverpool are dog poo, said it in July and still believe it even in December. Arsenal starting poorly and Chelsea dropping silly points is the only reason they are even in touching distance but once the London clubs pick up they won't be near us.

They need quality to challenge

Andy :

The RDBD is nothing but consistent.
Long have I wished the Toons to hang in there as long as possible, being a general top 5 nuisance and denying Spurs top 4 rivals vital pts.

Thought the recent mini-slump was the end of that, but events have given your lot a second chance.

Until we lose ba. If we don't get someone in to cover we'll slump again as he is quality but none of our other strikers look up to it.

Bubbles we have a terrible record at anfield and i guess carroll will be up for it as will jose. At least we don't have perchinho starting anymore and Ben Arfa hopefully will get a start as i think he could trouble liverpool without lucas.

The only thing Carroll would be fired up for is a night out on the lash
