I mean at the start of the year the arsenal board was bombarded with scouse fans claiming that we're finished and this year you were not only going to overtake us but also challenge for the league. Adam, Henderson, Carroll, Downing, Suarez (lol), Enrique and Bellamy were meant to send you to greatness.
Are you still living in a dream land or has it dawned on you that you're really not very good at all, like you have been told by rivals for the last 4 months?
King Kenny.....what a great guy
Do you reckon youre still title contenders?

St
It is a wum article. He can't even get his story right. The start of the year is January. Look where we were in January.
This article is useless. It is nearly as useless as Arsenal are at winning the champions league

Got_Bitter has been saying all season that LFC are going to win the league. Mind you, I'm still not convinced he isn't a WUM.

But I'm not a Liverpool fan, nor am I dumb enough to gloat when my team hasn't played yet

Apologies for insulting you by saying you were a scouse fan. And i am purely returning the favour after all the jibes we received on our board at the start of the season.

Skrtel now has more assists this season then downing, Carroll and Henderson put together
To be honest to a certain extent it's Kennys fault for buying them.
However, downing and Carroll are premier league proven, why they are not firing on all cylinders I'll never know.
On the plus side, we looked a new side when Steve came in and he was unlucky not to score a blinder.
Onwards and upwards from here.

downing is just plain average and always has been. If he wasn't he would have been playing for a better side. 20 million and 16 on henederson and 35 on Carroll
thats 71 million on average english rubbish, something needs to change here

I do not think Kenny was responsible for all the signings. I am not defending him but he spoke about Comolli in the summer as being the person who drew up the shortlist. This shortlist was made of players who rarely get injured and who created more chances thatn other players in the league.
Carroll, Henderson and Downing have been poor.
Carroll will never suit our style of play.
Downing can't shoot or kick the ball with his right foot.
Henderson is very young for central midfield. Most central midfieldres come into their prime at 25/26 years of age. look at Fletcher and Lucas as examples.
Enrique was a bargain buy and is a great player.
Bellamy was a great signing.
Adam is not bad for £7m. He is not world class but for £7m he is a steal.

If the title is "team with most chances that fails to score" then yeah, I think we are nailed on

Didn't Blackburn beat Arsenal his season?

Agreed so far Henderson, Downing, and Carroll have been worse than average most of the time; but the thing about buying players is you can only go on their form prior to buying them.
All three were England internationals at some level and were doing it for the teams they were in. I can only wonder what has gone wrong!
Is it that they feel out of their depth? Are they not being allowed to play the way they did before we bought them? Is it down to training and team tactics?
Whatever it is, it needs to be looked at and sharpish!
