This drop-in wicket is 5 years old now and cracks are starting to appear....nothing huge but cracks just the same..

Re; Tendulkar, not sure if your telecsat showed it or not, Tendulkar got a huge reception when he walked out into the middle with everyone on their feet clapping the entire time until he reached his mark...
Sometimes good sportsmanship gets lost in amongst the ugly stuff...well done to the cricket fans in Melbourne....hopefully the same gratitude will be shown in the other states, I'm sure it will.

With Tendulkar getting out, it has cost the MCG 20,000 spectators more then likely..

The groundsmen said they got new pitches every year...and as a result they don't deteriorate how he would like.

They may well have got new drop-in pitches this year, but this one is five years old.......they don't replace all of them at once.
