Which journalist has toadied up most to Alistair so far this season....and who will be first to call for his head.
Obviously Big Mark takes some beating but for adjusting reality wee Dilly Bods is in a class of his own. The sub-heading on his piece in the DR today is a classic example .....' Ally will ditch his own beliefs for one night only and go for Walter's cagey set-up'.
What are Ally's on beliefs and how do they differ from Walter's.

The daily pash has a bank of monkeys who write random headlines and sub headlines.

Zach..Do you know wit billy meant by Alistairs footballing beliefs

the sub-heading just summarises what BIlly is saying. We all know that...let's not get specialist about it.
The suggestion is that Ally has ditched Walter's cautious style in favour of an attacking, attractive brand of football. I don't know anyone who believes that.

Ally does what Walter tells him to do. Apart from the defence it is still Smith's side and Smith's style of play.

Going by the online article, you're reading way too much into it, magnum. It's totally bland. Looks like the sub-heading you mention is trying to hype it up a bit, as tabloids so often do - but it's a feeble effort.

Blue Heaven...you are right of course! but it would be interesting (for me..not you) to see how long it would take for the press to turn on Ally if he had an extended run of bad results ( ie if he spilled 17 points in about 8 weeks)
