Once again we get to the Xmas period in a lofty promotion spot.....and everything goes pear shaped! Was it Meggo's good will in granting the players a day at home eating Xmas pud...or is it just further proof that this team is still lacking a few good players who realize a game's not over till it's won!
The good thing is that the transfer window is about to re-open and there is a few bob in the bank! There's still half a season to go and with the right players brought in, we can only improve on a decent, if not great, first half campaign!
Come on MM....rekindle the flame that got us to an automatic spot and help us recover our position as SHEFFIELD'S BEST and back into the championship into the bargain!!

really disappointed to not win against walsall but to lose it like we did is so sickening,, i think new additions will come in and hopefully they will be solid signings rather than loans.
itd be nice to pick up a couple of young players like we did when getting brunty and whelan. they were so young when we signed em but carried our team through bad times when there were older and much more experienced players at the club, i think its only now that you can reflect on what a good job those 2 did.
there needs to be a bit of that braveness and energy that youngsters bring to the team, i know its almost the new year and im hardly shouting for out with the old and in with the new but youngsters are the way forward, so come on gary , take the shackles off and let em play and we can still win this ruddy thing.
all in all its a well done though to the guys, at the start of the season id have taken this position at xmas.
