Stick or Twist?

As the article states stick or twist a very simple question do we either

Stick with Owen and give him the January transfer window to try and bring in a few fresh faces and hope we can get a few of the lads of the treatment table and back into the starting 11.

Or do we twist and sack Coyle and get a new manager in with new ideas, tatics, backroom staff and give him the chance to try and install some confidence back into this current crop of players?

Just a though here cast your minds back 12 months ago to West Ham, Avram Grant was in charge with a record quite like Coyles now, West Ham had just lined up Martin O'Neil to replace him but the news was leaked and the owners were then put in an impossible position and i feel they 100% made the wrong choice they decided to stick by Grant and give him money to spend he went about his business and got it totally wrong (apart from Ba) and he went on to take West Ham down without any kind of fight back.

Now fast forward 12 months and here we are Coyle is on the worst run of his life he is the lowest point scoring manager for 2011, So do we give him funds to spend and hope he can reinstall confidence into a team that is all out of it at present, he has already shown he has no new tatics or formations to offer us in this run of defeat after defeat, even when we win and have the chance to try and kick on from that he seems to get it wrong and we end up back on another awful streak.
Part of the problem is Owen is not standing up and taking the flack for this he is pointing fingers and blaming players who to be fair probably do not care all that much as 11 of them are out of contract this summer and then add a manager and backroom staff who to are all out of contract in the summer none are talking about new deals they are all thinking what happens next and then chuck in a major relegation battle and you have a squad full of talent but unable to dig in and show commitment.

We are looking at facing the big 4 again in a few weeks and a few results going against us we could be well adrift of safety by the end of January and to far gone for anyone to save.

lets just look at it this way if you were a sales manager and posted figures for the year that read like Coyles played and won record for 2011 would you still expect a job to go back to in 2012?
Most people would have been fired a long time ago and i really feel like Coyle has had his chance now and it is time to face facts no matter how much time we give him he is tatically inept and unable to rally this group of players now and get them playing as a group again.
We need a chance of leader someone who can come in with fresh ideas and fresh tatics and not be the players mate but be their manager and lead them and get them playing to a level we know they can.

3 cheap signings in January wont sort this mess out.

Coyle's been like a DIY'er whose pulled something to bits and doesn't remember where the parts go.
