As has been pointed out, Bale was moved out of his favoured position and has adapted perfectly to the wing, so I don't see how you can use the "out of position" excuse for Walcott. We know he has good games in that position, but he doesn't show it enough, so it's more his making than Wenger's. He probably would be better as a striker, doesn't mean he shouldn't be better than he is on the wing.

Yes Bale was not as good since Arry turned up, though he was underused. Credit to Arry for giving him that spark.

Same with Modric. He was used in a more defensive role I seem to remember when Juande was around. You can kind of see how we went from so low in the table to so high in the table under Harry, giving players who with a potential to be world class a new lease of life.
