Frimpong to Villa

Reports today suggest Emmanuel Frimpong could be on his way to Villa Park on loan during the January transfer window. Wolves are also thought to be interested in bringing him and could challenge Villa in pursuit of his services.

Arsenal could be tempted to give him the opportunity of first team football for the remaining 5 months in the EPL and aid his development, however, many see Frimpong as our only cover for Alex Song in midfield.

What are the thoughts on a possible move from Arsenal & Villa?

"That would've been true, if Frimpong could play football himself. He'd fit in perfectly at Villa, booting people around."

Yea well that is kind of my point, he won't learn anything there. Like Bunsen said Wolves play tough but they are fair and they do keep the ball on the ground a lot more so hopefully he can work on his game over there.

Frimpong to Liverpool?

With Lucas out for the season I'd imagine he'd get plenty of playing time up there. He'd certainly provide their midfield with a touch more creativity than Adam or Henderson seem to muster too.

Plus we can be pretty sure that Suarez wouldn't dare say anything too risqué to him.

He won't learn anything, anywhere, I'm afraid. If we can't save him, no one can.

Wow, you guys think Wolves play better football than us. I thought we were bad but not that bad. We were finally starting to play football under Houllier too. Depressing.

To be honest Frimpong looks so average. I'd rather we took Rosicky from you to be honest. A midfield of Rosicky, Petrov and Ireland/Bannan/Delph wouldn't be too bad. But we need a new manager if we're going to get someone like Rosicky because he wants to play good football. Then again, ginger **** did get Hleb to Birmingham last season.

@villa1987: In all honesty, Mcleish is a step back. I'm still stunned that appointment happened, It's not a dislike of Villa incidentally, I don't see Mcleish as someone who can nurture youth/get the best out of players. Under Houllier you were better to watch, it's a shame his health got bad.
