Just been mulling through all the transfer gossip sites and with us agreeing to sell Cahill it seems that silly season is upon us and we are at the centre of every gossip column at present.
One thing that crossed my mind though is will we actually be in a position to sign new players on full time contracts?
With our position looking so dodgy in the league, The will Coyle stay wont he debate raging on amongst all Bolton fans and add to the fact so many players and staff Coyle included out of contract come June, will new players gamble firstly their futures on a club that may fall through the Premiership trap door this season and also the fact that they will be unable to guarantee who they will be playing for come August as Coyle may not even stay on with us if he did keep us up.
Another factor is wages we surly will not be prepared to offer big money contracts to potential targets as if we did drop we would be unable to afford these contracts with the huge drop in income that relegation brings.
Just a few thoughts that were going through my mind on the transfer front, Anyone got an good rumours to share?

A lot will depend on our league standing come mid - Jan.
If we're still second from bottom, or further adrift from 17th place than we are now, the only players who may be willing to move here will probably be from minor leagues abroad or lower leagues here.
We might get a few different players, but whether they'll be any better than what we've got ....
Short term loans may be an answer, athough again, it may be difficult to recruit the type of player who'll be up for a season-long relegation battle.
But ....you never know ..there might be someone out there, just waitin' for the chance to make a name for themselves in the Prem ....we're well overdue a bit of luck, and some of that wouldn't go amiss in this transfer window!.

West Ham just got told a big fat no chance for him but if we went if with a good offer you never know what they offered and we did them a favour with Danny Ward and all, Win win situation really if we got him as he would not want a big wage and would be good next year if we went down to the Championship and being young would be worth a bob or two in resell value later on.
