But the other question ignored in this article is the financial viability in expanding Stamford Bridge.
If Hammersmith borough have all these restrictions that we have to abide to then it might make it very expensive and a much worse option than actually moving.
It seems to me we need a bigger site than what we have now, so I understand why the club prefer to move.
There are many good reasons doe the CPO to have voted no first time round, but this piece of anti Chelsea propaganda is not one of them.

It just isn't viable to expand the stadium and it won't happen. Unfortunately we will probably have to move because there is the matter of local residents as well as there only being 1 exit onto Fulham road

Ridiculous article. Do they really still think Abramovich is in this for financial gain? He's blown a fortune on the club. It's time some people showed him some damn gratitude.
MO is talking sense above - there's nothing to be gained from expanding SB. It'll cost a fortune and has no commercial viability.
