Sean St Ledger. Confirmed as well by Stringer. Apparently he had a bust up with Nige and Top after being dropped. If he has that sort of attitude then good riddance I say. Probably got better than him in Tunchev anyway.

Twaddle!

What isn't happening now? I'm lost.
St Ledger, IMO, hasn't shown anything like the sort of form to keep him in the team, although he scored a few against Notts County reserves Fernandes has been inconsistent, as too has Danns and Johnson...well Johnson still looks fat.
If Sven was still here, I've no doubt he would rotate the squad irrelevant of who was playing well. In contrast, Pearson is trying to create stability and is selecting who he feels is the best team (isn't this his job, not the players' decisions to make).
The above 'tweets' from a source I do not believe is ITK at all, do not worry me in the slightest. And the quote 'Get some money on Portsmouth to win tomorrow' from a 'Leicester fan', I just find a little sad.

I can't see Pearson has upset all of the squad only the ones who came for Sven and the money at best! I've said all along that I thought the type and strength of players Across the squad would cause problems! My personal opinion was that Sven couldn't turn down Johnson, ball and some others! It's no wonder some players would get peeved with not getting a look in! Likes of SSL should be at a club where he is playing every week!

I can't access that link. Is it correct?
He's another one where I'd say: "I'm not surprised" and I wouldn't blame him that much if it was true - although I don't believe his performances have warranted a place in the first team when he has played.
St. Ledger, Johnson, Fernandes... if they want to leave then so be it. Several other of Sven's signings have shown much more. If not, I hope they knuckle down and up their game.

Jimi - there wouldn't be any problem if we were in the automatic positions right now. But, that's football for you.

Dunge- exactly, the squad we have really should all be holding down a starting place in this league every week I can't think of anyone who isn't really a good championship player trouble is they all think this rather than having one or two that are aspiring to be those players pushing the better players to keep on their toes!

A lot of whistling in the dark on this thread. This is decidedly not good news. SSL is a better than average Championship centre-half, in a Championship team which at present is not better than average. We now have an erratic, a hot-head, and an untested Tunchev to cover this position.
If I thought Pearson had got his head round what needs to be done, I'd be less worried by developments such as this.

Not too disappointed as SSL has never convinced me he's anything more than ordinary. Certainly not the type that makes you think he's upper Championship or Premier League class, which is what we need if we want to get out of this league.
I agree with Malling, however, in that we need cover. I think Mills will need time and will get himself booked and sent off a few more times yet. Bamba is .....well .... Bamba. Tunchev has never commanded a place since injury. It would be nice to have really credible cover in the squad to ensure that Mills/Bamba keep on top of their game.
