After troubled end to 2011 ATP seaon, he looks like he means business again. I watched him at the O2 and he was a shadow of himself. Now, he looks hungry again.
I don't buy into this 'not really important match' nonsense, when Djoko plays Roger, they both want to win badly, no matter what. Novak totally outplayed Roger today. True, Roger looked rusty, but I very much doubt that even a 100% Roger would have fared much better against Novak today.
The upcoming AO is now for Novak, Andy or Roger to take (in that order I think).
What is your AO predictions?
Djokovic is back

I share your thoughts, Nole is looking very sharp and hungry, as a seasoned fan, I can't have hoped for a better start of the new season, it was pure joy watching him paint the lies with ease yesterday.
Assumig ihe is 100% physically, anything but the AO crown will be a disappointment.
GO NOLEEE

with Andy appointing a legend of the game as his coach today, someone who lost his first 3 slam finals before going on to win 8, i really think this will be the difference this yr and expect oor Andy to win at least one slam in the coming yr

Great win for Djoko today - he looked on top of his game.
About Andy and Lendl: it looks an impressive appointment on paper but I am not sure it will work. I am yet to be impressed by any of the former great tennis players as coaches. With Andy it is also an issue of personality - he does not strike me as someone who will put up with 'I won 8 slams - so shut up and listen to me' nonsense. Anyway, we'll see. Could be exciting time for Andy but has the potential to turn into a disaster as well.

thanks for your reposte blade. i remember noleisthebest from the old site and he backed his man when he was probably number 3 but universally people seen nole as number 4 and andy as 3.
djoko has done EXCEPTIONALLY well, amazing tbh. i always though Andy was the better player with a bit more natural ability
probably i was wrong on that score, but i'm hoping as a scot that Ivan Lendl is the missing link. i'd love oor andy to go win one of these things or even better like novak, multiple titles,
one babystep first,
1 reason i'm optimistic is as i said the slam record of lendl and i think he can get in andy's head and explain what went thru his during those bleak times and how he came to dominate the sport for 3 or 4 yrs
1 thing i'm sure of Andy Murray has the ability to win these things
