Well this whole Maynard saga has been getting quite heated, thought id give my seal on it. I come in peace.... like it or not our 2 clubs have similar aspirations, you've been there but the last few years have been a bit rocky having slipped temporarily in league 1. Anywho having just watched Millens latest interview on the club site, he says that Nicky has just returned from holiday and he will be meeting with him soon, only after this will we know what Nicky wants, imo we can give him everything you can, we were in a similar position to you last season with regards to pre-season expectation and it didnt go the way we wanted, I sincerely hope the same doesnt happen to you.

I see bristol city have just signed a new striker from rotherham! Replacement for maynard? If we do sign him i hope we do it in the correct way and not get all nasty!

Millen keeps banging on about a contract extension.
If he wanted to extend his contract then he would've, I think he's after a contract improvement.
I hate to say it to Bristol, because its a good club, but I don't think you'll be challenging for promotion.
Not when there are many, many good teams this season.
Nicky will make the right decision.

Leicester can give him a great team to play in, a new stadium and playing in front of 25'000 fans every week, a good pay packet and promotion to the Prem (hopefully)

I see their chairman has already come out and said that there are another two Championship clubs interested in Maynard. He's doing his bit to start a bidding war, that's for sure.
