I know alot of people here think we only have a handfull of so called quality players. I don't want to get into who brought them in, but IF SG is sacked or resigns soon, who would you keep and who would you like to come in?
Remembering that any new manager will probably have no money to spend, even if they sell players would they get the money to buy new? Didn't seem to happen with KS or MG.
Or maybe the players we have ARE good enough and just need the right motivation, so who can we afford (or would want) to take that job on, remembering who they are going to be working for.
Answers on a post card to Kenneth William Bates, somewhere in Monaco.
Do we have the players?

GK- Lonergan - Very good signing and fairly young for a keeper, good enough at this level.
RB- Connolly- Average RB but you'd have to look hard for better to bring in at this level.
CB- Lees- Done fairly decent this season, still fairly young and he's had to make a big step up.
CB- Gimpel- Big prospect for the future.
LB- White- Young, genuine pace, very good season and can play both LB and LW.
CM- Clayton- Started very well and has scored a couple of important goals against both Bristol and Leicester. Likes to pass the ball, quick turns to find the right option but needed quality to help him out as at times he was our main man this season and that responsibility seemed too big.
Howson- CM- Very good, did a job in a deeper role earlier on and was just having a bigger influence before his injury.
Snodgrass- RW- Obvious class, whether we will be able to hold onto him is very uncertain though
Becchio/Somma/McCormack- ST- I'd say all are average strikers. Becchio only one capable of playing lone striker role. Depends how Somma recovers from his injury, scored goals from the bench, but needs/needed a consistent run in the team. McCormack, the potential is there as he has shown at times this season, but he needs to get his goalscoring form back. He's not lightning quick like Beckford so isn't the same luxury he was where you knew on the counter he was very dangerous and some defenders couldn't live with him.
