Pie said after the Liverpool game that the result wasn't good enough because we need to average more than a point per game to stay up.
Question: was the result at Old Trafford good enough for you Pie?

Bless you, I know it's hard to admit, but 90% of the population could qualify to take a course in eye charts...

I'm sure they could. What relevance that point has to a degree in Optometry I don't know

While its fun reading you two bickering, and honestly it really is!
Two things:
1: wow you complain about "off topic, yet I've answered your questions and shown statistics to support my conclusion. You have ignored them. Today including the stoke result we are now at 14 points from 20 games. This is now down to 0.7 points per game, 26 point finish. So again no... United result no good.
2) I left Uni after my first year due to personal reasons, lets just say they were pretty bulletproof reasons.
I have an amazing amount of respect for people that obtain a degree, but the highest reserved for those with firsts. I agree that at Bachelor level usually a Sciences degree is generally considered with greater weight than an Arts, But at Masters level a Arts degree simply blows ANY Bachelors out of the water!
Well done Pie for such an Acheievement!
Wow, If and when you graduate you too can get the same congratulatory message, but please don't assume you are in some way more valuable to society than people who you do not know, rememeber two useful phrases:
"it is better to be quiet and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt"
and
"empty vessels make the most noise"

Thanks for your input MJ, I don't doubt for a second that you had strong reasons to justify leaving University.
I can see your statistics there - very good. I've given my reasons for why I'm still optimistic after today's game - see God save Steve Kean's thread.

MJ all too true.
A person shouldn't be defined by their pieces of paper, as where we started at I was always told you should be learning a great deal more away from the classroom.
Just as a previous argument with Wow went, as he felt a degree would put him in the highe echelons of society and that money buys happiness.
It's a big wide world out there, make of it what you will. I'd hope, come the end, that I'll be judged favourably by family and friends...

Wow, have you problems with your eyes? I'd suggest you lack the talent required to play an instrument let alone the violin...
