Not unhappy with Townsend.

His name was mentioned before Snoddy was injured, I hope that isn't an ominous sign for Snoddy this window.

Townsend won't fix our defence though.

He's a winger, with a bit of pace and a good shot. Strong too. Good and necessary signing IMO, with Snodgrass out for a while.

David Weir from Rangers is available not sure he could make the step up though

I think Andros Townsend could inject that bit of pace we've been lacking since Gradel moved out .

Townsend looks a promising player for us. He's a poor man's Bale who's a little greedy on the ball but he's quite quick. Look at his goal against Shamrock Rovers on youtube, world class shot
