Yes, good luck to Jamie. He was enthusiastic & put in a good shift at the Lane, however it was always obvious that he would never be anything other than a fringe squad player at Spurs.

i rate the boy myself,industrious(sp) and can play a bit.
and good from set pieces,which was an achillies heel for us last season.
but hey ho,good luck jamie,and thats also one off from our fit wags list!!!

I think £5m is going to look like an absolute bargain. I think O Hara's been very unlucky at Spurs. Basically never had a bad game for us that I can recall and yet always found other mediocre players ahead of him. I'd have had him on the bench ahead of the likes of Tainio, Zokora, Palacios, Jenas any day.
I didn't like the fact he was going out on loan in January (at a time when people were saying we needed another defensive midfielder/cover on the left) and I reckon he could've have turned some of those draws into wins.
Maybe not a great player. But a great player to have. I honestly wouldn't be at all worried to see him start for England.
Oh well - hope we have a sell-on clause...
