BREAKING NEWS

Liverpool to bid 30m for Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole.
After his heroics against Manchester City on New years day Liverpool boss Kenny "King" Dalglish has no doubt that Lee Cattermole would be the perfect addition to the squad in the January transfer window.
This makes Cattermole another addition to the fantastic English talents in Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson.
Dalglish is confident that Lee would be the vital catalyst in their quest for their first ever Premier league title.

Who can say what would have happened if we had stuck the youngsters in.

We could just as easily have still lost then everyone would be on here going "Why is Fergie playing the youngsters when we could have had Park in there" and "Pogba was awful, looked way out of his depth, cant wait until he leaves"...

I think most decent football fans want their teams winning trophies and ideally with home-grown players. Who wouldnt want to emulate Barcelona and be dominating while providing the majority of the England team.

People laugh at teams for trying to build with British, but I always have respect for those clubs (like Aston Villa), even Liverpool despite their signings not setting the world alight are doing fine.

What?

You dont think that the likes of Walcott, Lennon, Young, Johnson, Sturridge, Welbeck, Rooney etc can be exciting?

In fairness as a national team we're not exactly solid, and we're about as boring as it's possible to be.

Because the Premier league has been swamped by foreign players.

Dont get me wrong, weve seen some great talents over the years but at the cost of the home national players that might have broken through and been great.
