So to summarise:

1. No one thinks Suarez is a racist
2. Suarez is part black himself
3. Suarez, by the letter of the law (rules) crossed a line set by the FA and they have to do something
4. If he had crossed the line set by the real law and been properly racist, they would have charged him like they did Terry. But he didn't so they didn't.
5. The punishment is excessive and should be reduced on appeal
6. Greavesy took my tongue in cheek comment about him being a racist far too seriously

It's easier summarised than that.

1. The FA had no evidence to ban Suarez for eight games.

3/9....No problem & I fully understand why you might not agree with mt stance. However I like your approach to a rival fan, but hopefully we are both football lovers!!! For the record I have no evidence that Suarez is a racist & in all honesty I very much doubt he is.

As for Redconn, if he thinks that anyone is being fooled or taken in by his 6th comment, then he is even more stupid than I realised!!
