I'm struggling to identify which players we should go for. This the first transfer window where I can honestly say I don't know who we should buy. Sure there is some players which spring to mind and who we have been linked with in the past, such as Cahil, Kevin De Bruyne, Rodwell, but none of these players in my opinion will help us change this season around. Last Jan for me was exciting, we were linked with Aguero, Torres, David Luiz, all these players I really rated. But I feel that clubs did most of their buissness in the summer, so now few players are available to buy.
We desperately need another world class player, someone who can pick this team up so we don't have to relly on the old veterans like Drogba, Lampard, Terry. We also need a few squad players, someone to back up the CB, (maybe Cahill) LB, and RB position. We need another play maker to support mata in creating chances.
We have been linked with some real big moves, Hulk and Higuian are two gifted players, however would it be wise to buy them? Hulk would cost just over £80 million, and Higuian would easily be around 30 million. Neither them are worth that amount. Higuian perhaps is more worthy of his price tag, but making Hulk the biggest transfer ever recorded would be laughable, he doesn't even make it into the national squad. Its a pity because both are brilliant players, and I would love to seem them at the bridge, but baring in mind price tag and the fact we have a ridiculous wealth in forwards would make it silly.
If I had to choose who we should sign it would be Mario Gotze, he was brilliant last year, and Van Der Viel, a verry exciting RB who would allow us to finally drop Bosingwa. LB I think we should ease Bertrand into the team but not for at least year though because he isn't ready. I would love to see this Chelsea team next year:

And Goezte is not a deep midfielder he's more of an AM that plays just behind the striker and he can play wing but like Mata would drift in

Gontze I like, great player and for me will be better than Hazard.
Bertrand is ready to understudy Cole, we don't need a left back.
Van der Wiel I think is close to joining Valencia and is overrated anyway.
We could do with a right back.
We need to go back in for Modric, badly lacking quality in the middle of the park, if you look at the midfield of old with Makelele, Essien and Lampard in their prime we're a million miles for that now.
As unlikley as it maybe we should at least be trying for Neymar again, he's class.

some certain deals we are unable to complete, lille will probs ask for 35 and e'll offer 30 and end up loosing out, same saga with neymar,
if i had to sign one player it would be lucas rodriguez moura, hat a player and he gonna be one of the best ever, we have been linked and reportedly had a bid turned down, but yet again its deals like these we miss out on,

If it was upto me i would say to Santos name your price for Neymar so he can join us now and just pay it.

Banega would be a nice addition, he would fit right into that deep midfielder role. Van der Viel is good, he isn't as overrated as you guys might think, hes certainly better than Bosingwa, and hes 23. But who else is out there really who is willing to come join us?
BK I think then alter the midfield a bit, and play:
Ramires Romeu
Sturridge Gotze Mata
Torres
Go back to playing with a lone striker, where Torres can make runs in behind. With two play makers such as Gotze and Mata Torres is bound to score some goals. The only problem I see is that Ramires suits a sligtly more advance role, because he is great at stretching teams!
