I really don't want to hear about Mertesacker needing time he's been here since summer and he is an international for a top country! Wenger probably won't spend this month because he BELIEVES in this squad but they are not consistent enough. Why can't we just have a consistent defence with high concentration levels? Why?

Okay there have been injuries these last couple of years BUT we have had defensive problems for yearssss! Djourou, Clichy, Squilacci, Silvestre, Senderos (who made a major contribution today) those are players who have been fit and do not provide reliable cover! I thought losing Cesc maybe just maybe could have been a blessing but NO we have lost a real spark that can win a game for us
