Andy has the facial hair to win this time round. At least that's what my wife thinks.
Andy Murray has the facial hair to win

I have now watched Andy Murray play the last 2 sets in his first round match and the first one today and he has won 6:0, 6:0 and 6:3. What's not to like? Great days

His Beavis and Buthead barnet is working wonders against Kamke.
But I still believe he will become Scottish rather than British before the tournament ends.

Well, he moves very nicely into the third round of wimbledon and gave me yet another great tennis match to enjoy. I would love to see him grab one of these majors one day

As soon as Murray is knocked out we can enjoy the rest of Wimbledon without the hype surrounding him as Britain's only hope

Funny you should say that. Only a very short time ago the British press were saying we had 2 world beaters on grass Unsurprisingly James Wade turned out to be the great flop that I expected and the other player is cruising through the early rounds. Why do you call it hype? Murray is a terrific player and may win the tournament. I would be surprised if he did to be honest, but you can understand the medias interest in the possibility that a Brit might win Wimbledon? Sorry for being boring and talking like a real adult

He won't. He'll do what all of the British hopeful's do and crash out in the semi's at the very latest. And that's if he gets lucky.

Can't you see that a British tennis player getting to the semis of any major championship is an excellent effort? I am a big fan Little Red but only take his games one game at a time. Win or lose, he gives it all he has and doesn't do too badly? What would you say if he did go on and win this thing?

I wouldn't say anything but I would brace myself fully for the the hype to double by next year.
I may also eat my hat.

lol I am fairly sure that your hat is quite safe . Personally, I love tennis, and enjoy watching a Brit play some pretty decent stuff from time to time. If nothing else, at least I can look forward to his next match, and that's his third which is going to be better than any other Brit, yet again. He will probably win it too Where will it end? Who knows? Who is your favourite player?

Sorry folks but you will have to put up with the facial hair a little longer after another excellent victory against a very dangerous player yesterday. The thing that I liked most about this match was the fact it was a classic game of exciting tennis, right to the bitter end for Ljubicic. Bring on the next one. I have a good feeling about this major championship
