How come Townsend can use twitter yet the rest cant?

Just seems considering he is here until the end of the season its a bit odd he can still tweet (especially straight before and after games)

Maybe he doesn't yet know the rule. I mean, he's only signed yesterday, they might not have got round to telling him.

He was only signed yesterday. I'm pretty sure the first thing that came to Graysons mind when meeting him wasn't to tell him not to tweet. He'll probably mention it at some point but not really an urgent priority.

Yeah that was my immediate thought. I doubt he knows the rule and, you have to consider this. Who is paying his wage?
Are Spurs paying his wage?

WSAIWB - probably a bit of both..we will be playing a fair percentage as well as contributing a loan fee

It's generally the recipient club that pays the wages as Grayson alluded to in his post match comments

It depends on the contract.
Sometimes one club will play it, sometimes they'll do 50/50, or 20/80, it can be anything. 02/98

Try listening to graysons comments.

Does he actually say we're paying it all though?

we were paying 50% of Danny Mills's and Robbie Fowler's wages for several years after they left Leeds, so it does depend on the terms of the loan deal
