Ireland 5th best Qualifying attendance.

Ireland had the 5th highest average home attendances for our succesful EURO 2012 Qualifying matches. Our average home attendance was 42,915.

Special mention to Scotland as well who had the 4th highest average attendance of 43,502.

Here are the top 5 average attendances

1. England 77,116
2. France 64,822
3. Germany 53,528
4. Scotland 43,502
5. Ireland 42,915

Further down the attendance tables

Wales 25,883

NIreland 14,067.

That's actually pretty impressive assuming they're true (I see no sauce).

Would've thought Spain's would be higher though.

Spain for some reason play their Internationals in 30,000 capacity stadiums rather than Real Madrid and Barcelonas stadiums.

YBIG - good point about the Nireland fans claiming that the Aviva would be a "White Elephant"!!
So much so that one of them has obviously ran to the mods to get your comment deleted !!
