I rather suspect any selling club would want cash upfront. That kinda begs the question (leaving aside numpty Aluko paying his own transfer fee...) where are the Gers going to get cash from?
Selling players certainly - but most deals nowadays are in fact done on an instalment basis and so, if rangers need cash then they might just have to drop the price they hoped to get for any player.
Just a thought.
