Every now and then a player comes along who just looks the part.
When he first came to us I hoped we got ourselves a diamond in the rough...But recently he's been playing like a matured pro both in Europe and the league.
Watching his goal yesterday showed a lot of what he's about. He read the flight of the ball well and made a powerful run to the back post completely losing his marker and finished very well.
Adding goals to his game is the icing on the cake for me. His work ethic, strength and all round play, is very consistent.
I honestly feel that this bhoy will play at the highest level.
For me the best young players at our club just now are Ki, Forrest, Wanyama and Mathews. I think all of these players have a very bright future.
Well played Lenny and Co for helping these guys progress very well.
The future's bright.
Hail, Hail
Wanyama

If izzy is going to be back in the team can't really have an out and out winger ahead of him. Maybe ledley will play lm. Still Sammy has been doing well there

With Izzy back I think we have to play Chuck in CD. That means Dan, Rogne, Loovens and Wilson are fighting to play beside him.
I really don't think we need another defender until we offload one.

Hector I compared him to Petrov because when Stan came to the club he was a raw but very strong and powerful player for his age and developed into a midfield dynamo who contributed his fair share of goals I see similarities with Wanyama maybe im wrong time will tell?

Wanyama ticks all the boxes.
He's better than Petrov was at the same age.

I always thought of petrov as more of a techincal player. Wanyama seems more of a destroyer
