Seems to me that there was a lot of things that we do not fully understand about the move that AMcL made across teh city. But here is an angle that I consider, but maybe he didn't.
Whilst manager of Rangers, would Big Eck have upped and left for Celtic under any circumstances?
Of course he wouldn't. I think that he did the same here shows that he does not understand or value the football rivalries here in Birmingham. Show little respect in my book. I wish him well at our neighbours, but he has gone down quite a way in my estimation for making that crossover, flying in the face of the emotions of every fan of the two clubs.
Now the dust has settled a bit

Please explain your interpretation of the word 'patronising' miami*, & how I have contradicted myself.

Have a day off Eihei.
"I think you may not understand the implications of doing so." - your sentance to RBC was in a condescending manner, which equates to patronising (look it up). You are implying that a fellow fan does not undertstand the social/religious factors involved within the old firm.
If you need anything else explaining please let me know.

, "I think you may not understand the implications of doing so."
The very sentence implies I do not understand the fierce rivalry and religious undertones that exist between Celtic and Rangers.
That is patronizing. Definition, you feel superior because you think you know more about a subject.
I think, on this occasion, you are condescending and full of bullsplat.

So now explain something else for this poor deluded, undereducated fool. If I think, GENUINELY, that someone MAY not understand something I have tried to express, how do I deal with that?

McLeish for me should not have done what he did, shows a lack of respect.
I try to be level-minded on these issues, I clapped Ferguson on (& off!) the pitch on Saturday as I do with pretty much all ex-players. I would not clap McLeish or Gardner though as I didn't like the way they left.

To be honest I never clap any returning players, I also don't boo them. Once they have left, they have left. Players come and go and managers come and go, as fans we need to get over it.
We have seen it on many occasions not just at the blues but at other clubs that when you clap or boo a returning player it comes back and bites you on the you know where.

I don't know about that bcfc83, we applauded Ferguson and he got himself sent off, we applauded Philips and he did't do what he does best. I think it does something positive to show appreciation. Whereas booing players from the opposition causes determination to show what they can do. Different ways of looking at things I guess.

Think back to AJ in the past when everybody clapped him and then he won both games for them, one with a dodgey pen down at Selhurst Park.

Tbh, I'll clap the player if I liked them and they always gave 100%, someone like Phillips.
I'd stand and applaud Jerome if he plays against us in the future, he gave his all but was treated unfairly (IMO) by some blues fans.
