LFC STRIKERS IN HISTORY

Dalglesh,Keegan,Heighway,Fairclough,Johnson,Rush,Collymore,Fowler,Heskey,Owen, Torres, even Barros & cisse ffs ....even Titi Camera ALL have better ability than Andy Carroll.

Carroll will never come good @ Liverpool & should have NEVER been bought History proves this.... Maybe stoke or somewhere he may have more joy but...he has n0 technical ability n0 pace n0 movement and is terrible in 1v1 situations, which ALLL yes ALL liverpool top strikers have been good@. If we had paid 1Million for Carroll he would be in the reserves by now. Question is now...who do we get in to replace him with!?!

*Note this post has no relation to tonight's game but more the fact that now Carroll is our only real Strike Option right now is a sad day*

Talent is talent - Top big men say - Luca Toni, Christian Vieri, Miroslav Klose etc - All had movement and technical ability even @ 22 (Andy's 23 on Friday) this is the reason why NO Andy Wont come good.

Will you still support him when he plays?

I wrote the following in an another thread; the article was dead unfortunately.

"Dalglish takes every single bit of blame for paying money for a man that was never worth the price tag.

You lot do realise that the Summer after Newcastle were relegated, Carroll was offered to Wolves for £1M to which they declined. Nile Ranger was the heir apparent at the time. Carroll had a good couple of months, that was all.

It really does make you wonder if Dalglish researched Carroll at all, don't you think?"

I think the criticism of Carroll is unfair and a lot of this situation isn't his fault. He was practically forced out of Newcastle anyway. He didn't want to leave. Like I say, the blame lies with Dalglish I'm afraid.

Just a thought.

What if it was Woy who bought Carroll...............

Yes I'll support him till he leaves. But we must look elsewhere & I agree dalglish/comolli must improve on their transfers! I'd rather see more smaller longer term high potential buys like shelvey instead of big over-hyped players who have similar if not less ability. Is Henderson even better than shelvey never mind meireles the player he basically replaced.

What a top comment
Because KK has signed him, the rose-tinted spectacle brigade think he'll be our next Toshak - the best thing we could have done is to have loaned him but we don't even have that option now with Suarez out.

**loaned him out** that should have read

We are unable as a team to play decent balls in for Carroll. It was the same when Crouch was at the club the crossing was rubbish then as it is now.

Carroll has potential and needs the fans support. We were in charge for large amounts of the game, we just couldn't function as an attacking force.

It's too complicated to blame it all one one player.

Perhaps me now spelling Dalglish correctly will suddenly make Andy Carroll a "Classy" signing?
